Austin, MN - The Board of Directors of Hormel Foods Corporation declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.0925 a share on the common capital stock of the corporation.

The dividend is to be paid on August 15, 2001, to the shareholders of record at the close of business on July 21, 2001.

This is the 292nd consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the company.
