July 18, 1998

New Hartford, NY - ParTech Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corp. announces an order worth $2.4 million from Chick-fil-A Inc.

The order is for ParTech's industry leading restaurant management solution which includes both software and hardware system packages. ParTech is currently the sole provider of such systems to Chick-fil-A.

The Atlanta-based restaurant organization has over 770 restaurants located in 35 states and South Africa and is one of the largest privately owned restaurant chains in the industry. Chick-fil-A is also the third largest quick service chicken restaurant company in the nation. The company's presence in shopping malls, college campuses, airports, drive-thru-only outlets and other conventional and non-conventional settings makes it imperative for Chick-fil-A to have a restaurant management system which is reliable, adaptable and performs at the highest level necessary.

“Our focus in the restaurant industry is to build upon our leadership in the quick service marketplace by providing system solutions that will perform at the highest level in functionality, dependability and overall service to the restaurant operator,” commented Donald A. England, ParTech's vice president of Worldwide Sales. “Being selected by Chick-fil-A to provide point-of-sale systems to their restaurants once again solidifies our leadership in the industry as the preferred provider of system solutions to the quick service restaurant market. We value our thirteen-year relationship with Chick-fil-A and look forward to strengthening our partnership.”
