971149 Cyclopss Beefs-Up Food Division And Board

Salt Lake City, UT - Cyclopss Corp. announced that it has retained the services of Michael J. Lakis Jr. to better enable it to penetrate the food industry with products designed to kill bacterial contaminates on food.

Lakis will serve as a consultant to Cyclopss. Moreover, Lakis will also serve on the company's board of directors.

Lakis is a well-known veteran in the food industry. Most recently, he served as president and chief operating officer - North America for DelMonte Fresh Produce Co. And, before that post, he was with Chiquita Brands Inc., where he worked for more than 37 years. His last title at Chiquita was president (1979-1992).

Cyclopss Corp. is one of the nation's leading developers of ozone application processes and technologies for industry. Among its products is a food (produce, poultry and meat) and commercial laundry-decontamination system that kills micro-organisms such as E.Coli, Listeria, Giardia, Cryptosporidum and a host of blood-borne pathogens.

Lakis brings to Cyclopss a wealth of contacts within the produce, food processing and retail grocery expertise.
