021232 McDonald's Grilled Chicken Flatbread Sandwich

December 22, 2002

Oak Brook, IL - McDonald's customers will have a second chance to savor one of the restaurant's most popular limited-time offers: the Grilled Chicken Flatbread sandwich. Beginning December 27, McDonald's will offer the flavorful sandwich for approximately eight weeks in participating restaurants nationwide.

The Grilled Chicken Flatbread sandwich is comprised of a tasty combination of warm, soft, seasoned flatbread wrapped around tender grilled chicken with creamy dressing, processed pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and grilled onions. Now back by popular demand, the Grilled Chicken Flatbread sandwich is part of McDonald's limited-time-only product rotation designed to bring additional taste and variety to customers. First introduced in June 2002 as an eight-week offer as part of McDonald's New Tastes Menu, the Grilled Chicken Flatbread sandwich was a huge success. The sandwich will be available a la carte for a recommended $2.89, as well as part of an Extra Value MealŪ. Prices and participation may vary.

"We were thrilled with the overwhelming positive customer response to the Grilled Chicken Flatbread sandwich this past summer and are excited to offer the same great taste for a second time beginning December 27," said Alex Conti, McDonald's U.S. Marketing Director. "This is just one example of how McDonald's responds to its customers and continues to provide menu variety and added value to the McDonald's experience."
