021130 Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs Franchise Unveiled

Hatboro, PA - Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs, Inc., a division of Toppers Brick Oven Pizza, Inc. presented its new franchise restaurant design and business program at a news conference in New Orleans.

The plans were unveiled at a news conference held at the New Orleans City Club on November 22, 2002. Mr. Ronald L. McDonald, consultant to Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs, Inc., presented the restaurant menu and operating procedures. Mr. Harvey Jacoby of Interplan Partners, LLC presented the restaurant design. Ms. Jackie Rochelle, Sharp Electronics presented the P.O.S. cash register system. Master Eric O'Neal presented a specialized program to develop minority ownership in the franchise system. Other speakers were Paul Esposito, President, Richard Michael, Director of Franchise Operations and Ronald Viehweger, Administration.

Hosted by Master Eric O'Neal, several conferences over three days were held regarding marketing, financing and development of the Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dog franchised restaurant system. The conferences focused on minority ownership and management.

Paul Esposito, President of Toppers, stated: "We are very excited to be working with Master O'Neal to develop the New Orleans market and are committed to support the minority ownership initiative that he is leading. Master O'Neal is dedicated to community development, minority entrepreneurship and children's causes and we are proud to have been included as co-sponsors of Master O'Neal's Blue Lion Foundation's annual `Our Children's Essence Festival'."

Richard Michael, Director of Franchise Operations, said, "We are pleased with the response to our restaurant design. We have designed an attractive and exciting theme for the restaurants while incorporating efficient operating equipment set up and floor plan. I look forward to working with Master O'Neal and his associates to develop the New Orleans market. The documents required for franchising are now complete and we will soon be accepting applications for franchisees in some other states."
