March 3, 2001

Clearwater, FL - Hooters Foods, Inc., a division of Hooters, Inc., originators of the popular restaurant concept, announced that their nearly world-famous chicken wing sauce and breading will be featured in a new retail product called the Hot Pot, to be launched this month by Eastman Outdoors, a division of Game Tracker, Inc.

The Hot Pot, an indoor/outdoor fry pot is ideally suited for making Hooters' signature chicken wings and will be sold at select retail outlets, including Walmarts across the country. Neil Kiefer, President and CEO of Hooters, Inc. and Hooters Foods, Inc., is excited about inclusion in this "tail-gater's dream." "Our Hooters Wing Sauces and Breading have performed exceptionally in grocery outlets nationwide, but this now brings the element of fun and convenience to merchandising of these products," he commented.

The Hooters Restaurant chain, launched in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida, continues to be one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains in the United States, with over 300 units in the U.S. and abroad. The great success of the international chain can be attributed equally to the celebrity of the world- famous Hooters Girls, the chain's beautiful and vivacious servers, and their distinctive chicken wing recipe.
