San Diego - Jack in the Box restaurants introduces the new Extreme Sausage Sandwich with Egg and Cheese. Available in all the company's restaurants, the sandwich has two sausage patties, two slices of American cheese and an egg on a bun.

“Our core customers, men 18-34, want lots of meat and cheese in their sandwiches, and breakfast is no different than lunch or dinner,” said Stuart Morris, product manager. “The Extreme Sausage Sandwich is a big, hearty sandwich that we think will satisfy our guests' cravings.”

Jack in the Box offers one of the most diverse selections of breakfast sandwiches in the industry. In addition to the Extreme Sausage Sandwich, the company offers the Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich and the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. The Extreme Sausage Sandwich sells for $1.99, though more adventurous eaters might want to try the combo with a hash brown and drink for $2.79.
