000665 Burger Chain Parent Prandium Holds Annual Meeting

Louisville, KY - Prandium, Inc., the operator of El Torito, Chi-Chi's, Koo Koo Roo and Hamburger Hamlet restaurant chains, held its annual stockholder meeting yesterday at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Louisville, Kentucky, the location of its Chi-Chi's headquarters.

Kevin S. Relyea, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Prandium, Inc., conducted the meeting. The inspector of elections from Chase Mellon Shareholder Services announced that an overwhelming majority of the stockholders of the company elected the following six persons as directors of the Company: Messrs. Kevin S. Relyea, A. William Allen, III, David J. Ament, Peter P. Copses, George G. Golleher, and Antony P. Ressler. Stockholders also approved the appointment of KPMG LLP as the company's auditors for 2000.

Mr. Relyea hosted a brief question and answer period following the formal meeting. Also in attendance were Robert T. Trebing, Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer of Prandium, Inc., Roger K. Chamness, executive vice president and president of Prandium's Chi-Chi's restaurant division and Ms. Gayle A. DeBrosse, executive vice president and president of Prandium's Koo Koo Roo division.
