The Dublin, Ohio- based chain said yesterday it hopes to increase earnings 12 to 15% next year. The operator and franchiser of fast-food restaurants reported 1999 third- quarter net income of 44-point-five-Million-dollars, compared with 42-point- nine-Million-dollars in the same period a year ago. Wendy's cited a seven-point- one percent gain in its U-S same-store sales as a helpful factor, and added that it achieved a slight increase in domestic margins despite higher food costs and labor inflation.
