991109 Beef Packing Plant May Come to Iowa

Iowa - Rumors are surfacing that a new meat packing plant may be coming to Iowa. The Iowa Cattlemen's Association and the Excel Corporation are considering building a new multi-Million dollar beef packing plant in rural Iowa.

The proposed facility will carry a price tag of 100-Million dollars and provide a thousand new jobs. If Iowa is the selected site... the plant would be built within a year.
