990714 IBP Buys Appetizer Maker Wilton Foods

Dakota Dunes, SD - IBP Inc., the world's largest fresh meat processor, said it acquired appetizer and kosher meal maker Wilton Foods Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

Wilton Foods, based in Goshen, N.Y., employs about 200 people and had sales of more than $20 million in 1998, IBP and Wilton said in a joint statement.
