Des Moines, IA - An animal rights group known for getting attention at big livestock events was in the limelight again this week, but not the way it intended.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals set up a protest at the World Pork Expo in Des Moines to call for better treatment of hogs. Part of their display included bales of hay. Police say a man attempted to set them on fire. He was arrested.
