Landover, MD - Giant Food says it wants to better educate consumers about the dangers of e-coli bacteria. A company spokesman says new labels with cooking instructions will be put on all Giant packages of ground beef. Giant says that the U-S-D-A wants retailers and thermometer manufacturers to inform consumers about the dangers of improperly handling and cooking ground beef.
