MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay - The value of Uruguayan meat exports from Jan 1 to Oct 10 was $394 million, four percent higher than in the same period last year, the National Meat Institute said Tuesday.
Beef exports make up 82 percent of total sales.
Eighty one percent of exports went to the European Union, Israel, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
