Washington - A Louisiana sausage company is recalling 500-thousand pounds of Cajun meat mixture after 62 people became sick with salmonella from eating it at a wedding reception. The U-S Agriculture Department says nine of the wedding guests had to be admitted to the hospital for fever and diarrhea after the August 15th wedding in Louisiana. Savoie's Sausage and Food Products of Opelousas is asking customers to return its "Real Cajun Savoie's Dressing Mix". It was distributed in nine states.
