Belle Fourche, SD - The Northern Plains Premium Beef Cooperative has abandoned plans to build a beef processing center in Belle Fourche. The cooperative had been trying to raise enough money over the past several months to build the facility. Officials say a lack of investors forced them to abandon the effort.
