Miami, FL - Terrace Holdings Inc. said it has changed its name to Terrace Food Group Inc.
The change is effective immediately and the company ticker symbol will stay the same.
"The name change is in keeping with our strategy of becoming a major factor in the high margin, value-added food processing industry and better reflects the nature of our business," Chairman Steve Shulman said in a statement.
Terrace recently announced the acquisition of Banner Beef & Seafood Co., a value-added processor of meats, seafood and poultry.
Under an exclusive arrangement between Terrace and ALR Holding Corporation, Banner will provide home meal replacements and other food services to airlines, food clubs, retail establishments and the military. This is Terrace's fourth acquisition in the last eight months.
Terrace is a south Florida distributor and processor of produce, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy and other perishable commodities.
