Omaha - Food company ConAgra Inc. said it named Blake Lovette president of ConAgra Poultry Co., a $1.3 billion business that makes products under the Butterball, Country Pride and To-Ricos brand names.
Lovette succeeds Russell Bragg, who moves to another position at ConAgra. The company said Bragg had accepted the ConAgra Poultry position on an interim basis in January 1997.
Lovette has worked for other poultry companies including Perdue Foods Inc., and leading poultry processor Tyson Foods Inc. Most recently, he was president and owner of Lovette Co. Inc., a North Carolina regional wholesaler of beef, poultry and prepared and packaged meats.
