Burlington, VT - A big name in the Vermont food industry is Independent once again. McKenzie Meats of Burlington purchased the shares from Waterbury holdings... the same company which acquired the Vermont company several years ago. President Mary Alice McKenzie says local financing has been obtained to complete the transaction.
