Cordova, MD - The state is suing a chicken processing firm on the Eastern Shore for almost four-Million dollars charging they are dumping chicken waste at their Cordova plant. The suit against the Allen Family Foods Company charges they sprayed wastewater from the plant on an adjacent field contaminating the groundwater. Company officials say they are correcting the problem and they say the suit is "premature."
