In addition, it is Fletcher's first significant step into the highly fragmented, rapidly growing meat snacks industry," said Fred Knoedler, Fletcher's President and CEO. We intend to build upon Gran'pa Don's current brand equity by providing it with several competitive advantages -- including vertical integration, production synergies, purchasing power and marketing expertise.
Gran'pa Don's is expected to add approximately $15 million (US $11 million) in annual branded product revenues to our Prepared Foods Division," Knoedler said.
